Mitchell Family - {Natural Light Photography}

Welcoming their beautiful second daughter Eliza Mae into their loving family a couple of weeks prior, I had the pleasure of a Mother's Day photo session with the lovely Mitchell family. A family full of love for each other, and lots of kisses & cuddles too.

'Return to the Forbidden Planet' - {Theatre Photography}

With a fun, energetic mixture of science fiction, Shakespeare and some good ol' rock n' roll tunes thrown in for good measure, Queanbeyan Players current production of 'Return to the Forbidden Planet' is a hit.

Trying to not obviously bop along in my seat, and keep my toe-tapping to a minimum did add an extra challenge to this photo session, but one I can say I confidently rose to, as I strapped my sparkling new 70-200m/f2.8 piece of glass on for its first ride.

15 years ago I had a first date with a certain boy, at a pizza restaurant. 

Tonight we made home-made pizzas & had a pizza picnic whilst watching Madagascar with the littlest member of the household ❤❤

Thursday afternoon baking

I've been sick all week, with not a great deal of motivation to speak of.

Finally the germs seem to be getting the hint and have started to depart, so this afternoon I found myself in the kitchen itching to bake something.

 Today is my husband and my 11th wedding anniversary, and I decided a yummy dessert was called for. The house is now rich with the strong smell of a flourless chocolate cake, courtesy of Sue Shepherd's 'Low FODMAP Recipes' book.

A year ago I posted a session of two gorgeous girls, Caitlin & Zoe, and a few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing them again for a fun outdoor, autumn session. It's amazing to look back at how much they have grown!

I am so excited that Bree & Mark have allowed me again to capture some beautiful family moments together and record them as they grow.

And growing into beautiful little ladies these two are .... they were an absolute delight to play in the leaves with ... I threw leaves on them, they threw leaves on each other, they threw leaves on me ....

Full of smiles, full of fun, full of adventure.

Calendar Girls {Theatre Photography}

Canberra Rep's recent performance of 'Calendar Girls' was an absolute hoot!

I loved the chance to get a sneak peek at their dress/undress rehearsal ... these ladies had a fabulous time together on stage which translated in a most delightful performance to watch and one that I absolutely was thrilled to take some photos for.
